pedantic nuthatch
Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.

Ach, tonight was the klutz night.

The burning taper fell over when Andy slams the table in scene 1, but I caught it before it hit the table. (I'm always braced for something to happen in that moment.)

I was mush-mouthed at a couple of junctures; I found myself repeating myself.

Then, for my bit at the end of scene 6, I dropped the rocks glass. I scooped it up, turned a complete 360, held for a bit (as if to say, "I meant to do that"), and then poured my drink.

So I'm feeling better by scene 8, and I decide to hoppity-skip over some of the debris on the floor on my way to pull the bread out of the fridge. Old, worn heels on the loafers I'm wearing, and BANG I'm on my butt on the deck.

I hate Fridays.
