I'm donating a portion of Dedalus's spare cycles to the Einstein@Home citizen science project. The project is designed to look for evidence of gravitational waves from spinning superdense stars, a phenomenon predicted by Einstein's general theory of relativity. More specifically, the number-crunching of data from three interferometers is being distributed in chunks to computers worldwide.

The flashy graphics part of the client doesn't work for Mac OS X yet. Alas.
