Leta and I finally got around to seeing About Schmidt on Saturday. We both enjoyed it: it's been a while since I've seen Jack Nicholson play someone that visibly bottled up. But both of us were confused about when the story takes place. It seems to be the late seventies/early eighties, but then why is there a PC in Schmidt's home office, and why does he dial an 866 toll-free number? posted: 11:17:19 PM |
