It appears that the Sundance Institute will be screening four films this fall in a traveling festival format, something like the Shooting Gallery series from a couple of years ago. The films will be screened in this area exclusively at the Loews Georgetown 14.

Well, I am probably the absolutely last person to see The Matrix Reloaded before it moves to the cinema-and-draft houses. It's humbug philosophy with artful car chases (big surprise). With more than a whiff of old Ronald Reagan movies about the air war in the Pacific.

The continuity people did a better job of keeping track of the damage inflicted on that Cadillac than they did managing the color of lipstick that Monica Bellucci was wearing.

And did the set for the meeting with the Oracle look like it was borrowed from Eyes Wide Shut? But Hugo Weaving is still a gem.

If you like movies that have you arguing in the car going home about what story you actually saw, then you're much better off seeing Swimming Pool.
