I've completed a modest walking goal: in increments of one and two miles each, I have walked the complete length of the nearly 45-mile Washington & Old Dominion Trail from Shirlington to Purcellville and back. What's next? I'm much more likely to complete the Custis Trail in Arlington, but I've already logged one mile on the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal trail (184.5 miles from Georgetown to Cumberland).
