Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.
First working rehearsal. We worked on scene 1 (6 pages) for about two hours. Andy and I started getting into some of the rough stuff, but it's hard to choreograph very much with books in hand.
Questions for further research: where does Austin collect tension in his body? In what period is the "period piece" "simple love story" of Austin's treatment set?

We took our first walk through the Park checking out Wood Duck nest boxes this morning. It smells like spring, that is to say, it smells like mud. We found evidence of nesting in two boxes: it's early in the season, so it's possible these are abandoned nests from last season. There was a smattering of pintail and teal on the pond, as well as a raft of 100+ Ring-Billed Gulls (Larus delawarensis). We packed out two lawn bags full of trash, spring runoff from the townhouse subdivisions upstream. Soaring above the parking lot we saw an adult Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).
