Life in a Northern Virginia suburb of Washington, D.C. B.M.A.T.C., and Etruscan typewriter erasers. Blogged by David Gorsline.
Before he made movies, in the late 1940s Stanley Kubrick made photographs
for Look magazine, a competitor of Life.
Mary Panzer goes through the archive of his Chicago photographs, which
is now in the Library of Congress.
My favorite caption: "Diners in the fabulous Pump Room of Ambassador East...
think little of paying $10 for lunch."
