We made a respectable showing at the festival yesterday with Perfectly Good Airplanes. The adjudicators were very impressed with Steve's script (one said, "I was totally wrapped up in it") and the things they dinged us about can be fixed with more rehearsal. And it's likely that there will be more rehearsal, that is to say that (probably) Leta and her actors will present the show as part of Silver Spring Stage's one act showcase in August.
Technically, this is not a complicated show to mount: lights and sound to start the show off, and lights and sound to wrap it up 47 minutes later. I was calmer at the technical rehearsal Wednesday than I usually am, and I'm glad that I didn't have to pay for it later.
