Great Backyard Bird Count 2011

looking spruceA very late start, but good weather conditions, for my stroll along the (recently restored) Glade for the Great Backyard Bird Count. Fifteen species, including a briefly-heard Red-shouldered Hawk. The only slight surprise was a Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula). Bonus mammal for the walk (seen and smelled) was a very well-fed-looking fox.
