A very late start, but good weather conditions, for my stroll along the (recently restored) Glade for the Great Backyard Bird Count. Fifteen species, including a briefly-heard Red-shouldered Hawk. The only slight surprise was a Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula). Bonus mammal for the walk (seen and smelled) was a very well-fed-looking fox.
